AUSTRALIAN BUSH FLOWER REMEDIES

Flower Remedies are ancient. The Australian Aboriginals have always used flowers to heal as did the Ancient Egyptians. They were also very popular in the Middle Ages. Paracelsus in the 15th Century wrote about how he collected dew from flowering plants, diluted it and used the liquid to treat imbalances.

This healing method was rediscovered by Dr.Edward Bach sixty years ago through the use of English flowering plants.

Naturopath, Ian White B.Sc.,N.D.,D.B.M (Founder of the Australian Bush Flower Essences) has also applied this method using plants from all over Australia to develop a series of flower essence remedies. Like Bach Flower Remedies, Australian Bush Flower Remedies work on the personality and emotional state of the patient to restore balance and heal, with the philosophy that one personality type reacts differently to that of another to the same disease, and that treating the personality of a patient is far more effective than treating the disease or illness.

Ian White comes from a family of herbalists growing up in the Australian Bush, and was taught from an early age the power of Australian plants. His grandmother, and great-grandmother specialised in using Australian plants medicinally and would often take him into the bush to point out the many healing plants and flowers. Ian was raised with a deep respect for nature and he too became a practitioner working with native plants, and has since spent many years travelling Australia researching and developing a range of 64 specific remedies.

The Australian Bush Remedies not only help to give clarity to one's life but also the courage, strength and commitment to follow and pursue one's goals and dreams. They help to develop a higher level of intuition, self esteem, spirituality, creativity and fun. The more the Essences are used, the more one is likely to experience greater awareness and happiness in one's life.
